Friday 16th October
Departure from London Heathrow to Zürich. Here you will be met by your Tour Manager and luxury touring coach. Transfer to the 3* Hotel Mozart in Rorschach on the Swiss shore of Lake Constance, with a stop on the way at the pretty town of Stein on Rhein. Welcome drink before dinner to enable you to get to know your tour manager, driver
and fellow travellers.

Saturday 17th October Departure after breakfast for a pretty morning drive to nearby Appenzell - principa; town of the Swiss canton of the same name. Time to stroll through the quaint little streets with their pretty painted houses, admire the tiny embroidery shops, or sample the delicious Appenzell cakes with a morning coffee. After this, there will be a short stop in the village of Stein to see the production of the Appenzell cheese before proceeding to St. Gallen to spend a few hours at 'OLMA', Switzerland' biggest annual agricultural show.
Return to Hotel Mozart for dinner and overnight

Sunday 18th October Leaving Rorschach after breakfast, travel the short distance to the Austrian border. Enjoy a scenic drive across the Arlberg Pass to Innsbruck, the Tyrolean capital, with time for lunch and a little sightseeing. After leaving Innsbruck we have included a visit to a Fleckvieh farm en route to Salzburg, before continuing on in the direction of the Salzburger Lake District and the pretty village of Seeham.
Check into the Hotel Walkner for a 3 night stay. Dinner is included in the hotel tonight. Overnight: Seeham (BD)
Monday 19th October Enjoy a relaxing day in this beautiful area with a gentle horse & carriage ride a cruise on the nearby lakes, returning to Seeham for an included light lunch. Afterwards, there will be a short afternoon drive through the surrounding area, with a visit to a typical Austrian smallholding of the region. Dinner is included in the hotel tonight.

Tuesday 20th October Today’s excursion visits the beautiful nearby city of Salzburg. Included city tour with a local city guide to see all the important sights and hear the history of this city of Mozart. Plenty of free time after the tour for lunch and individual sightseeing, shopping etc. Optional cable car ride, weather permitting. Dinner is included in the hotel tonight. Overnight: Seeham (BD)
Wednesday 21st October Depart from Seeham after breakfast. Pretty drive to the village of Oberndorf for a coffee stop at the famous 'Silent Night Chapel' on the banks of the River Salzach, where the world-famous Christmas carol was first composed by Franz Grueber and Joseph Mohr. Continue onto Munich airport and the return flight to the UK. Arrive back at London Heathrow airport in the late afternoon.
